Summary In the role of Electric Gate Technician, you will play a pivotal role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electric gate products and systems offered. Your role involves traveling to various job sites, both indoor and outdoor, to perform these tasks. You will need to work independently as well as collaborate with others, ensuring that all installations and repairs adhere to manufacturer specifications and company standards. Duties Installation of electric gate products per manufacturer's specifications. Gather and prepare materials needed for installation and service jobs. Maintain paperwork and records as necessary. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid Driver’s License. Must have an accepted MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy. Must have dependable & reliable transportation to and from your base office location. Preferred Qualifications Experience in electric gate service/install or similar skilled trade. Basic knowledge of construction, hand tools, and/or electrical. Mechanical inclination Skills Willingness to learn Excellent attention to detail Customer service-oriented mindset Adaptability to a changing work environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Work Conditions Non-climate-controlled environment – will be working in all weather conditions. Frequently walking, standing, bending, climbing ladders, using lift equipment, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
