JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented Electric Motor Design Engineer to join our innovative R&D team. You will design, simulate, and optimise electric motors and electromagnetic systems for high-performance applications, using industry-leading FEA and design tools. This is an exciting opportunity to work on next-generation electric machine technology in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

• Motor Design & Optimisation – Create high-efficiency motor designs (PMSM, induction, SRM) for performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Electromagnetic Simulation – Use Motor-CAD, JMAG, ANSYS Maxwell, or similar to model torque, losses, and thermal behaviour.
• Prototyping & Validation – Support motor build and testing, validating simulations with real-world measurements.
• Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration – Work closely with mechanical, thermal, and control engineers to meet full system requirements.
• Innovation & R&D – Investigate new topologies, cooling methods, and materials to enhance performance.
• Documentation – Produce design specifications, simulation reports, and compliance documentation.
