Description

QUALIFICATIONS: –

Electrician with Mechanical aptitude would be ideal.
Candidate with previous experience with automobile or large truck mechanical repair would be an asset.
Security and Safety clearance.
Driver’s validity license is a must.
Experience using overhead crane and driving forklift is required.
Must have own tools/equipment.
Must be punctual and exceptional detail oriented.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Basic machinery assembly experience.
Knowledge of basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and their applications.
High school diploma or equivalent technical training.
At least 3 years’ experience interpreting basic mechanical drawings.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Able to follow basic health and safety procedures and protocols.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Mechanical Repair of 240V-575 AC/ 120-240 VDC motors, Transformers; Shafts; Rotors; Industrial servo motors; Generators; 4000V motors; Coils; Bearings; Armatures.
  • Ability to disassemble, accurately identification of parts, identification the exact location or condition of interaction of various parts, re-assembly of repair equipment.
  • Perform mechanical static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors;
  • Perform on-site mechanical servicing and mechanical repair;
  • Troubleshoot and perform mechanical repair on electric motors, transformers, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment;
  • Able to identify replacement parts or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators and other components;
  • Basic testing and measurement of mechanical components on motors, transformers, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance;
  • Able to follow basic work instructions and ensure all processes are verified.
  • Must be detail oriented and high degree of attention to details.
