AGY, a world leader in high-performance materials, is seeking a dedicated Electric Shop Supervisor and Engineer to join their team in Aiken, SC. Minimum Requirements: * At least 5 years of electrical experience, including low and high voltage systems. * A minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in heavy industrial settings. * Proven leadership experience. * Relevant degree or certification in electrical or industrial maintenance. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage all aspects of the Aiken Plant Maintenance function, supervising a team of up to 15 electricians. * Oversee maintenance engineering and craft labor resources to meet established goals and objectives. * Develop and implement effective plant maintenance programs to ensure the proper installation, operation, and reliability of production and utility equipment. * Manage department budgets, ensure compliance with plant environmental systems, and implement safety programs. * Collaborate with production leaders and resources to achieve plant operational and corporate goals. * Troubleshoot and handle multiple tasks effectively. Desirable day shift schedule (typically 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, subject to business needs).
