PLEASE BE AWARE THIS NOT A SMART METER ENGINEER ROLE

This role will require extensive travel covering mainly the Yorkshire Postcodes with some travel to the North East to cover the DL, TS, NE Postcodes. From time to time you may also be required to work away from home.
This role will be mainly focussed on the fault finding, repair and maintenance of residential customers smart meter.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

• You will be required to visit customers property to fault find, repair and maintain their smart meter.
• You will be given full training to be able to diagnose and repair a smart meter, this could be swapping the sim, reprogramming, battery resets or recommissioning.
• Travel will be required with this role, sometimes national. If/when you are required to stay away from home, all accommodation will be provided.
• Communicating with customers, dealing with any concerns they may have over their smart meter.
• On occasion, you will be required to complete some single phase electrical meter installation work.

THE SALARY & TERMS APPLICABLE FOR THIS ROLE

• Basic Salary: £31,000
• Attendance Bonus: £150 per month

• The training for this role is 2 weeks, 1 week from our Head Office in Haydock, Merseyside and 1 week in the field mentoring. You will be required to stay away from home for this period, would you have any issues with this? (All hotel accomodation is paid for)
