EVC PROGRAM MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION

The EVC Program Manager will focus on reporting, milestone billing, record management, solicitation and data management activities. Programming activities will be validated year over year for accuracy and alignment with client requirement, changes to capital plan allocation and priorities. Break in projects will be identified to quick execution given capital plan favourability during the execution year. The Program Manager will be responsible for the success of the EVC Program and will lead the team to develop required skills to support the client.

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to manage and support the program expansion and enhancement, site selection, project technical review and administration of EV Charging installations across a large portfolio of properties. This will require working collaboratively across internal and client stakeholders to ensure program success.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures that industry standards and best practices are applied to drive successful implementation of end-to-end EV charging program for the portfolio.
Drives program expansion and enhancement including site selection, leveraging best-in-class technologies and client delivery data to analyze location decision making and prioritization.
Supports capital planning, budget and investment analysis process and enables successful translation to project scoping, consultant proposal review and incentive application.
Facilitates multiparty client and stakeholder discussions to ensure successful project development and implementation across owned, leased and managed sites.
Develops, updates and communicates technical standards and best practices for implementation of EV charging projects in collaboration with Project Management, Capital Planning and Sustainability Teams to achieve client objectives.
Drives supply chain and contractor partnerships and coordinates with vendors, utility providers and third-party consultants to provide project and program oversight and smooth transitions from programming strategy, installation to activation and turnover.
Monitors and reports on EV infrastructure usage and program efficacy as well as budget, project completion. Develops an integrated reporting process and interface to meet client needs and enable future programming and capital planning prioritization.
Provides education and technical support to operations staff to ensure EVC operations and maintenance as per standards and recommended guidelines.
Engages account team to build a culture of sustainability, and to identify and develop program growth and create awareness.
Collaborates with the global platform on the implementation and management of energy projects in a timely and accurate fashion.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead EVC team and supervise junior staff.
Provides supervision to individual employees within the program. Plans and monitors appropriate resourcing levels based on scoping and program growth. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company’s values.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Minimum of five (5) years of related experience and/or training.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or Trade Area Systems (TAS) experience preferred
3+ years of experience in the electric vehicle charging sector preferred
Experience with various utilities and incentive programs
Research analyst or policy experience a plus
Demonstrated experience in strategic problem solving, business analysis and insights generation, and cross-functional collaboration
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Calendar)
