Electrical Analyst
Where will you work: Onsite – K3, Esterhazy, Saskatchewan
Maintain a thorough condition-based monitoring program on a variety of electrical assets using infrared, ultrasound and motor circuit analysis technologies. The electrical analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing data and reporting on any defects found from the analyzed equipment.

What you’ll do?

  • Maintain a thorough Motor Circuit Analysis program of selected equipment, which includes collecting and analyzing data and reporting on results.
  • Maintain a thorough Ultrasound program of selected equipment, which includes collecting and analyzing data and reporting on results.
  • Maintain a thorough Infrared program of selected equipment, which includes collecting and analyzing data and reporting on results.
  • Retain working knowledge of warehousing, direct ordering, requisitioning spare parts and supplies.
  • Work independently and with minimal guidance from maintenance staff
  • Review machine performance with operators and recommend appropriate maintenance actions.
  • Fluently read all drawings, prints, sketches and parts manuals.
  • Interpret and carry out written or oral instructions and to make written reports as required.
  • Diligently adhere to all relevant legal environmental requirements.
  • Diligently ensure that all relevant OH&S requirements and in-house safety regulations are complied with.

What you’ll need:

  • Must have a diploma from a recognized institute as an Electrical Engineering Technologist or equivalent Engineering Technologist program.
  • Must have a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan driver’s license
  • Five years’ experience in a mining or industrial operation.
  • Successful completion of level I certifications in each of Infrared, Airborne Ultrasound and Motor Circuit Analysis. level II Vibration Analysis and level I certifications in each of Infrared, Airborne Ultrasound and Motor Circuit Analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, networking and data management software.
  • Working knowledge of 600v, 4160v, 5kv power systems and switch gear.
  • Working knowledge of motor controls and VFDs.
  • Qualified Electrical Worker
