Overview:

Our Energy Group is hiring Electrical and I&C Engineers to support our client site. As an Electrical or I&C Engineer, you will be responsible for on-site engineering support during construction and commissioning. Come join our team and help us design complex systems, uphold regulatory requirements, and problem solve unique challenges. This role is located On-Site in:

  • Tatum, TX

Responsibilities:

This role involves managing schedules, scope, and quality to ensure project success with minimal supervision. You’ll also be responsible for providing technical leadership, utilizing comprehensive engineered packages—including drawings, calculations, and specifications—while applying engineering principles and adhering to industry codes and standards.

  • Project Management: Own project scopes, schedules, and quality, while guiding team members to ensure successful, high-quality outcomes
  • Design & Technical Expertise: Develop detailed engineering design packages, drawings, specifications, and evaluations tailored to client needs, applying innovative and practical solutions
  • Standards & Compliance: Ensure all designs and deliverables align with industry codes, standards, and regulations
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and foster strong relationships with colleagues and client engineers to achieve project goals
  • Growth & Field Support: Embrace opportunities to learn new tools and provide hands-on expertise during field installations, system checkouts, and start-up activities

Qualifications:

  • For Electrical Engineers: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • For I&C Engineers: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical
  • For Electrical Engineers: Experience with Protection & Control Design, Medium and low voltage installation and Power system design experience
  • For I&C Engineers: DCS/PLC installation and configuration experience
  • Requires at least 3+ years of design engineering experience
  • Strong skills in writing, presentation and communication
  • Proficient in performing electrical calculations
  • Cable, conduit, and cable tray installation design experience
  • Ability to provide informed recommendation based on expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability as an individual contributor and team member
  • Physically able to visit client sites (including using stairs or ladders)
  • PE license highly preferred; EIT preferred
