With our Head Office based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan we are looking for an outstanding instrumentation and electrical technician who is a self-motivated, works well without supervision, is a customer service champion, and always willing to go that “extra mile”.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation/ Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation maintenance and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various types of instrumentation and control systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our design & functional processes.
Our focus is climate& production systems efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong electrical experience with knowledge of low and high voltage systems.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems and components related to instrumentation.
  • Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation effectively.
  • Effectively instruct, mentor and coach apprentices and team members to support safe and efficient job and task execution
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Must have a Valid drivers license’s and able to maintain a clean abstract.
  • Available for work out of town work based on varying project requirements.
  • Journeyman electrical and or instrumentation certification is preferred.
  • Must have years of experience.

    Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour based on years of experience and qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on instrumentation and control systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with sensors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and low voltage electrical systems.
  • Trouble shoot control system components including but not limited to: PLC hardware, instrument and control signal and power wiring.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to assist in repairs and installations.
  • Utilize AutoCAD for creating and modifying electrical schematics as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with supplier, clients and team members regarding maintenance schedules and equipment status.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
