Description

Electrical Apprentice The Electrical Apprentice supports licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Minimum of two years experience, three preferred. * Assist licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment * Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and mount electrical boxes * Install outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and electrical panels under supervision * Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams * Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly * Test electrical systems using appropriate testing devices * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area * Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and electrical codes * Load, unload, and organize materials and tools on job sites * Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members * Attend required training, classes, and apprenticeship schooling Safety Responsibilities * Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times * Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately * Participate in safety meetings and job hazard analyses * Work in compliance with OSHA and local electrical codes Physical Requirements * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs * Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces * Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions * Opportunity to advance to Journeyman Electrician and Lead Electrician roles Performance Expectations * Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality * Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork * Show continuous improvement in skills and knowledge * Follow directions and accept feedback constructively
