Description
Perform in-process inspections, as required, to ensure compliance to Quality standards and make necessary adjustments in order to meet quality standards. Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limiting to assisting mechanical team and FAB when necessary. Completion of High School or GED equivalent is required at a minimum. Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 80 km of the work location to be considered. Diploma in electrical engineering considered an asset. 1 year of experience in the assembly or repair of product in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Prior experience in testing electrical control assemblies considered an asset. A combination of education and experience will also be considered. Position Success Criteria: Working knowledge of the mechanical or electrical processes within a manufacturing facility is ideal. Knowledge and experience with hand and power tools. Effective communicator and interpersonal skills, including excellent oral, written communication, and listening skills. Ability to work independently and multitask, as well as in a team environment. Demonstrates continuous learning through cross-training, learning new skills, and refreshing prior skills. Good analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
