Description PCT Ebeam and Integration in Davenport, Iowa, USA is looking for an: Electrical Assembler We are looking for an Electrical Assembler to wire custom industrial machines, and assemble electrical panels and fabricated parts to complete units. This position performs a variety of tasks with some degree of complexity, requiring thorough knowledge of electrical theory, fabrication techniques, tools, materials, and equipment. In this position, you will be entrusted with the following key tasks: Work from wiring diagrams, specifications, and job layouts to build large electrical panels and wire industrial machines. Use a variety of electrical testing and gauging devices and equipment. Plan and lay out work that has variations in standard procedures. Cut, form, and connect wiring in accordance with specifications. Assist with or perform testing operations on units and completed assemblies. Calibrate and regulate units to meet load capacities and operating requirements. Requirements We are looking for the following qualifications: High school education or GED required and one to three years experience in electrical wiring. Requires experience and knowledge of electrical theory, wiring practices, and ability to read wiring diagrams. Requires experience working safely around electricity in a fabrication setting. Must be familiar with portable power tool and machine tools such as drill press, bandsaw, cut-off saw and grinder.
