Description Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking an Electrical Assembler. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this role will be responsible for completing assembly of wire harnesses by accurately cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating wires using hand tools and semi-automated machines. Responsibilities: Complete assembly of wire harnesses by accurately cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating wires using hand tools and semi-automated machines Assemble and install electrical connectors, lugs, ferrules, and terminals per schematics and detailed drawings Perform basic continuity tests visual inspections of harnesses and sub-assemblies to ensure adherence to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards Inspect finished assemblies for quality and adherence to workmanship criteria, identifying and correcting defects Apply Lean Manufacturing practices, including 5S methodologies, to maintain an organized, efficient, and safe workspace Prioritize safety and quality while maintaining high levels of productivity and meeting production deadlines Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide assistance in other areas of manufacturing as needed to support operational goals Required Skills: High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of previous electrical assembly experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment; training provided Ability to read engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documents Familiarity with hand and power tools Strong communication skills with the ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team setting Ability and disposition to adapt to changing priorities Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Desired Skills: Associate’s degree in a related field Ability to perform tasks efficiently and accurately while consistently delivering high-quality results Experience with testing and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems Applicants with prior experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, HVAC technician, maintenance technician, or similar hands-on mechanical trade are encouraged to apply Who We Are: Q-Lab Corporation is a global leader in providing material durability testing products.
