Description:

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and innovative Electrical and Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design electrical schematics, program PLCs, develop HMI interfaces, and commission robotic and manufacturing systems. You’ll work on exciting automation projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that integrate mechanics, electronics, software, and control systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Automation, Electric Engineering, or equal experience.
  • Proficient in PLC programming (structured text, preferably Beckhoff TwinCat).
  • Strong knowledge and several years experience in electrical design using CAD.
  • Proficiency in designing and working with automation hardware, such as sensors, actuators, linear systems, servo motors and AC motors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent project organization and communication skills.
  • Experience with database, back-end, and front-end development (advantageous)

Education:

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical schematics and ensure designs comply with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Specify and select components for electrical cabinets, including safety devices, cables, motors, sensors, and actuators.
  • Design, program and test PLC and HMI software.
  • Prepare and execute test procedures for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  • Commission fully integrated systems in collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Communicate with distributors to verify availability, manage cost estimates, and create requests for quotes, purchase orders, and bills of materials (BOM).
  • Work with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and objectives.
