MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS

✔ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
✔ Licensure: Active OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) certification (or eligibility for immediate registration).

✔ INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5+ years in hydroelectric power systems, including generators, exciters, governors, or BOP equipment.
• Hands-on experience with MV/LV distribution, protection relays, PLCs, and SCADA systems in hydro plants.

✔ Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar design tools.
• Knowledge of IEEE 115, C22.1 (CEC), and IEC 60034 standards.

✔ Language: Fluency in English and French (written/spoken).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with refurbishment/upgrade projects for aging hydro plants.
• Familiarity with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) workflows.
• PMP or P.Eng. certification (asset).
