Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience).
THE ROLE:
To help us lead the future of commercial aircraft modification in Boeing EASA Modifications, we are seeking applicants for an Electrical/Avionics Engineer - EASA Modifications Equipment Specialist (Hamburg) (Experienced or Lead) (M/F/D) to join our rapidly expanding, best-in-class team. We will support you to develop your already substantial skills and encourage you to reach your career goals.
The successful candidate will analyze, define, and generate the documentation for the certification of complex equipment in large aircraft modifications for our global airline partners to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulatory and customer requirements and procedures defined in the company’s Design Organization Handbook (DOH).
You will work closely with equipment manufacturers, Office of Airworthiness, and Authorities to ensure guideline understanding, design strategy, and certification.
This role is based in our BGS EASA Modifications site in Hamburg, Germany. Hybrid working options are available. Travel to other sites is expected with occasional international travel.
