Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical BIM Modeler to support the design and coordination of complex electrical systems within large-scale industrial and commercial projects. This role will focus on creating, developing, and maintaining accurate 3D models using Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to ensure seamless collaboration between engineering, design, and construction teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting/Design Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience with BIM modeling software such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
  • Understanding of electrical systems design, including power distribution, lighting, and grounding.
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and schematics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience working on industrial, semiconductor, or high-tech facility projects.
  • Familiarity with BIM 360, AutoCAD, or other digital construction platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain 3D electrical models in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) to support design and construction activities.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, structural, architectural) to identify and resolve clashes.
  • Produce accurate drawings, layouts, and construction documents from BIM models.
  • Update and manage model data to reflect design changes, RFIs, and construction adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and client specifications.
  • Support the creation of as-built documentation and digital turnover packages.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of models and drawings.
