X-trodes is a cutting-edge medical device company at the forefront of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) innovation, located in Herzliya. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented electrical or biomedical engineering intern to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for a 2nd-year student eager to gain hands-on experience in the development of advanced wearable systems that monitor physiological signals in real-world conditions. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to technologies that power both clinical applications and next-generation HMI solutions—bridging the gap between human physiology and intelligent systems. Requirements • Currently enrolled as a 2nd-year student in a leading electrical/biomedical engineering programs. GPA > 85 • Experience with laboratory equipment (For example: function generator, oscilloscope, and multimeter). • Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Java) with a willingness to learn new languages and technologies as required. • Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts. • A team player, with Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members. • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a fast-paced environment. • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work within assigned deadlines. • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and willingness to take on new challenges. • Fluent in technical English – verbal & written. Responsibilities: • Work closely with our team to assist the design, development, and testing (QA) of medical devices and related software. • Assist in conducting experiments, collecting data, and analysing results to support ongoing research and development projects. • Contribute to the implementation and optimization of hardware and software components used in X-trodes' products. • Assist in the troubleshooting and debugging of hardware and software issues. Work collaboratively with the team to identify and resolve any technical challenges that arise during the development process. • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in medical devices and related technologies. Share your knowledge and insights with the team, contributing to the overall growth and innovation of our company. • Perform hands-on work on a multidisciplinary system, involving both hardware and software components.
