The Inspection Services Division (ISD) within the Community Planning, Housing and Development (CPHD) Department is seeking an Electrical Codes Inspector to ensure that all phases of building construction are completed in conformance with codes, ordinances, and approved plans and specifications. The ISD is responsible for working with Arlington County citizens and developers to build and maintain property throughout the County. Electrical Codes Inspector positions may be filled at level I, II, or III, based on candidate's experience and qualifications. The employee will receive training on materials, methodology, and code requirements for residential and commercial high-rise inspections.

Responsibilities

The Electrical Codes Inspector ensures that all phases of building construction conform to codes, ordinances, and approved plans. The role involves working with citizens and developers to maintain property throughout Arlington County.
