Job Description We’re supporting delivery on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects in the Nuclear Sector, playing a key role in the commissioning of critical electrical systems within a nuclear environment. This is an opportunity to work on a once-in-a-generation project, contributing to the safe energisation and handover of complex HV/EHV systems. Key Responsibilities: Commissioning HV/EHV/LV electrical systems across the HPC site] Conducting protection relay testing (e.g. SEL, Siemens, ABB, GE) Verifying control logic, interlocks, and system functionality Supporting HV energisation planning and execution Interpreting SLDs, wiring diagrams, and schematics Working in line with nuclear safety standards and procedures Ensuring compliance with PTW, LOTO, and Electrical Safety Rules Qualifications Required Skills: Proven experience commissioning within highly regulated environments(nuclear, power generation, transmission, oil & gas) Strong knowledge of: HV/EHV systems & electrical distribution Protection schemes and relay testing UPS / DC systems & control systems Ability to interpret complex electrical drawings Experience working under strict safety and regulatory frameworks Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience. Desirable Skills: Previous experience on nuclear new build projects Understanding of nuclear safety culture & configuration management. Additional Information Why join us?
