Description Salary: $95,000 to $105,000 per year Background check, US Citizenship, CAC, and a secret clearance are requirements of this position. The Tomahawk Weapon System provides surface combatants with long-range, precision-guided, land attack cruise missile capability. The Theater Mission Processing System (TMPC) provides for Tomahawk mission planning and distribution. The Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control Center (TTWCS) provides for the initialization, preparation, launch, and post-launch control of the missile. The Tomahawk External Data Extract System (TEDES) is part of the Tomahawk ecosystem, which integrates with various unmanned systems to enhance intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. Requirements • Provide design and engineering services in support of TEDES (Tomahawk External Data Extract System) Next Generation development software and hardware. • Provide Tomahawk External Data Extract System (TEDES) support for TTWCS v5.4.0.2, v5.6, and v5.7. Shipboard and land-based test sites. • Assist in identifying Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) for TEDES. • Assist with Lab Management actions that shall be performed to maintain audit readiness. • Provide Engineering Change (EC) Support for the TEDES Program. • Report on the status of technical document development during weekly/bi-weekly/monthly drumbeats. • Participate in the technical document review, Validation/Verification (VAL/VER), and Support Product Team (SPT) process. • Participate in design and development meetings to evaluate impacts on technical documents. • Provide input for presentations in preparation for program reviews. • Evaluate TEDES design and User Impact Documents (UIDs) for impacts to technical documentation and other areas of concern. • Conduct Build Readiness Testing (BRT) on TEDES Interactive Support Systems (ISSs), Interactive Courseware (ICWs), and Multimedia Tutorials (MMTs), and prepare test reports. Participate in the Go/No-Go meeting and brief on BRT's results. • Investigate system, hardware, and interoperability issues as required. • Investigate Fleet Introduction Reports (FIARs) and provide feedback to resolve reported issues. • Perform other tasks as required. Education/Certificatio Requirements: • BS in an electrical / computer engineering discipline or similar with 10 years or more of experience. • Experience with U.S. Navy weapon systems is a plus. • Must possess a secret clearance or be able to obtain a secret clearance. • Ability to work with and foster a strong team environment with multiple different organizations. • Analytical skills to effectively track, manage, and update multiple technical issues. • Must have good Microsoft Office Suite computer skills. • Must have strong organizational and time management skills. • Communication skills in briefing at all levels of the organization, and be able to work with and foster a strong team environment. • Must possess good Microsoft Office Suite computer skills. Must have above-average MS EXCEL skills.
