Description

ELECTRICAL, CONTROL AND INSTRUMENTATION APPRENTICE

Salary: £22,048 per annum plus Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Location: Ballynacor WWtW, Ballynacor Lane, Portadown, Northern Ireland BT635RP. (There will be a requirement to travel between these two sites to share knowledge and learn new skills)
Programme Duration: up to 48 months
Candidate shortlisting will take place on w/c 7th July 2025, and assessment days will take place between w/c 21st July 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Helping maintain electrical, control & instrumentation equipment
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs
  • Performing electrical testing and troubleshooting
  • Using control systems such as PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)
  • Suggesting and implementing equipment improvements
  • Helping oversee contractors
  • Follow safety and environmental rules
