Your Impact We are searching for a highly skilled individual who can work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. The goal is to design and fabricate electro-mechanical components of innovation and excellence for the semiconductor industry. Key Responsibilities • Responsible for design, specification and services to electrical, instrumentation and control systems of semiconductor equipment. • Generate specifications and related project design documents, instrument lists, I/O lists; specify hardware, design the installation of PLC's, Industrial Process Controllers, and related peripherals. · Programming knowledge in C, IEC 61131-3 (ST) or C# required · PLC systems supporting high level language programming - B&R Automation Studio Programming Experience preferred · Basic Electrical knowledge required (Sensor wiring, Servo Motor Tuning,…) · Able to read electrical prints required · SEMI knowledge preferred (SECS/GEM Communication) • Able to program or design motor controller kits and drives using PacSi software and others. Also, diagnoses obsolete and specify replacements for control system components such as motors, drivers, controllers. • Execute instrument & control system life cycle management programs which include control system inventory, obsolescence plans, managing spare parts, and upgrade/replacement planning. • Reviewing and checking vendor drawings and other discipline drawings for electrical /instrumentation input. • Assists in manufacturing support and troubleshoot issues during testing and commissioning. • Participate in product design reviews. • Support continuous improvement of system based on stakeholder input. • Handle all project management tasks associated with electrical/control system engineering projects. Requirements Skills/Qualifications: Key Requirement to have CAD Software & PLC (e.g. B&R preferred) EXPERIENCE • Electronic Systems, Electronics Troubleshooting, Electronic Testing Design, Project Management, Quality Focus, Database Design, Analyzing Information, Reporting Research Results, Attention to Detail, Emphasizing Excellence, Innovation. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree required. Concentration in Electrical Engineering or comparable degree. 5+ years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer for a manufacturing, defense, or semiconductor related industry.
