Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer’s facility in Peoria, IL. As a member of our team, the selected candidates will be a skilled Electrical & Controls Engineer. The candidate can expect to work in a high-velocity and dynamic environment with a focus on quality and efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS in EE or related field along with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of control theory, PID tuning, and stability analysis.
  • Experience modeling and/or interfacing with pneumatic, hydraulic, or other mechanical systems.
  • Experience with a variety of controls hardware.
  • Mechanical and/or structural experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with code compliance.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Diverse interests and skill set, with an ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Experience with any of the following is a plus: CODESYS, RMC Tools, EPLAN, MATLAB/Simulink, AutoCAD Electrical, LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, PLC, HMI, SCADA programming (Allen Bradley), SolidWorks.

Responsibilities
  • Electrical system component selection and BOM creation and schematic creation.
  • Work closely with supplier and vendors.
  • 2D Panel layout.
  • Electromechanical and electromagnetic device design.
  • Embedded and power distribution systems design.
  • Hardware debugging.
  • Interface with industrial and collaborative robots.
  • Ability to handle onsite support and work directly with end users.
  • Support system builds and implementation.
