This remote role is ideal for someone currently based in California who is looking to be a key member of our cost estimating team, with the opportunity to learn and grow alongside a passionate group of cost estimating and construction management professionals. Responsibilities: Provide detailed quantity take-off and preliminary pricing for a variety of construction project types. Review and interpret construction drawings to understand the overall project scope. Support development of comprehensive cost estimates/models communicating the client’s project and strategic goals. Facilitate document control, file management, and project collaboration. Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures. Actively research, solicit and develop sources/vendors to compile and maintain the accuracy of cost information. Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project goals. Qualifications: 2 - 5 years of experience as a cost estimating professional (ideally in a consulting environment), including conceptual estimating, takeoffs, change order review/reconciliation, and value engineering; prior Electrical trade experience required. Prior healthcare estimating experience highly desired Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications). Proficient user of On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software or similar quantity takeoff software preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills A bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or architecture is preferred.
