Job Title: Electrical Craft Team Member Department: EWSR Engineering Location: Corby (NN17) Salary: £36,779 - £37,586 (£31,982 basic plus 15% shift allowance, Rising to £32,684 plus 15% shift allowance on successful completion of probation period) Closing Date: Sunday 16th November 2025 We believe that our strength is not just in our steel but the diversity of our workforce. Our people make the difference. We are looking for a skilled Electrical Craft Team Member to keep our Corby plant running safely, reliably and on time. You will work in a multi-skilled shift team across days, lates and nights Monday to Friday, carrying out planned maintenance and tackling faults at pace to minimise downtime. What you will do Complete PPM and reactive maintenance on plant electrical systems to a high safety and quality standard Fault find on relay control circuits, AC and DC motors and a range of drives to get equipment back online quickly Carry out basic PLC fault finding on Siemens S7-300, S7-1200 and S7-1500 Read and work from electrical drawings and update job records in SAP PM or similar CMMS Contribute ideas and deliver small improvement tasks that lift reliability and safety What you will need Apprentice trained or Level 3 qualification such as BTEC, City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering Experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment with strong electrical fault finding skills Working knowledge of low voltage systems, motors, drives and safe systems of work Comfortable working rotating shifts Monday to Friday as part of a multi-skilled team 18th Edition and basic mechanical awareness are a plus What you will get Total earnings of £36,779 to £37,586 including 15% shift allowance, with an increase after probation 35 days holiday per year Annual pay review and quarterly bonus scheme subject to business performance Defined contribution pension - 10% employer and 6% employee Free on-site parking, employee assistance programme and a wide range of employee discounts Apply by Sunday 28 September 2025.
