JOB DESCRIPTION

As the electrical supervisor you will be required to established leadership role who takes on a great deal of responsibility in their work. Their primary duty is to oversee and manage a team of qualified and junior electricians. They also make progress reports about their current projects and relay that information to the project manager.

• Report to President, Vice President and General Manager as required
• Proficient with AutoCAD design software
• Works closely with Engineering Manager on new job requirements
• Works closely with Production Supervisor on implementation of new job electrical requirements
• Prepare electrical bill of material & electrical schematics for each crane project
• Schedule and delegate all job builds as per approved orders
• Purchase all required electrical items, i.e. controls, flat cable, wire, etc.
• Supervise all electrical technicians by training and other see all electrical apprentices
• Participate in weekly Production meetings
• Ensure and review all cranes are built to recognized approved standards
• Maintain standard electrical schematic library
• Arrange electrical inspections by Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) as required
• Ensure completion of electrical pre-shipment check list
• Ensure complete testing of all new equipment signed off and approved
• Negotiate pricing agreements with suppliers and
• Research special / custom / new electrical components
• Provide technical electrical support for all departments and customers
• Other electrical duties as required
