QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
  • 3–8 years of experience in electrical design for automation equipment, OEM machinery, or industrial systems.
  • Proficient with PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Omron, Rockwell), HMI programming, motor controls, and E-CAD tools.
  • Strong grounding in circuit design, control panels, power distribution, and safety standards (e.g., IEC, UL).
  • Analytical mindset, hands-on approach, willingness to engage in lab and field activities.
  • Excellent communicator with a collaborative style.
  • Experience in precision engineering, manufacturing automation, or test equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

You will spearhead the electrical and control system design for automated manufacturing machines—from concept through commissioning. This includes wiring design, PLC and motion control integration, sensor selection, and collaborating closely with mechanical teams. The ideal candidate is experienced, pragmatic, and thrives in cross-functional teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design electrical systems for automated production machinery that include PLCs, HMIs, control panels, wiring, and distribution.
  • Develop PLC logic, safety circuits, and motion control sequences.
  • Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs using E-CAD or equivalent tools.
  • Partner with mechanical and software engineers for system integration.
  • Support prototyping, lab testing, field commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Foster best practices in electrical documentation, design standards, and knowledge sharing.
