Job Description As an Electrical Design Drafter working with the Distributions team, your impact will be in the preparation of panel layouts, schematic designs, switchroom/terminal station layouts, cable/wiring schedules and related documentation related to the design of HV and EHV terminal stations and substations. Key Responsibilities: Undertaking drafting of distribution designs to a high technical standard Review and assess brownfield and greenfield sites Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure detailed designs are practical, technical sound and meet/exceed client expectations Ensure all design activities are completed within budget, schedule, and quality targets, maintaining cost-effective delivery Identify and manage scope variations according to client and/or project requirements Participate in design reviews, contributing technical input and identifying opportunities for design optimisation Qualifications To be successful in this opportunity, you will have relevant industry experience with demonstrated experience drafting for distribution projects. In addition, you will also have: Technical qualification such as a Diploma of Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia Current full Victorian Driver’s License Demonstrated experience within the Electrical Transmissions/Distribution industry Understanding of Electricity Distribution systems and process requirements related to design work Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to manage stakeholders at all levels Additional Information Salary range: $78,000 - 83,000 plus superannuation (12%) We are open to considering this role on a full-time, part-time or job-share basis.
