Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Oak Brook, IL
We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in vehicle and equipment electrical systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage (12V/24V) and high-voltage (HV) systems.
• Skilled in electrical circuit diagrams, schematics, and wiring harness design.
• Proficiency in tools like CATIA Electrical, Siemens Capital, Zuken E3, Mentor Graphics, or similar.
• CAD experience with 3D harness routing and 2D flattening.
• Familiar with PLM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia).
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, and FlexRay communication protocols for ECU and vehicle network integration.
• Experience in creating design specs, BOM, and installation manuals.
• Understanding of international and industry standards.
• Background in Heavy Equipment or Off-Highway Vehicles preferred.
