Ampowr is seeking a motivated Electrical Designer with at least one year’s experience in designing electrical installations, specifically in the fast-evolving field of battery storage systems.
Are you a talented Electrical Designer with a passion for sustainable energy technology and skilled in creating electrical designs using AutoCAD? Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the detailed design of electrical installations, with a strong focus on integrating battery storage systems. Your tasks will include:

  • Creating detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and installation plans in AutoCAD.
  • Acting as a technical specialist: performing calculations for cable sizing, short-circuit currents, and voltage drops for LV and MV installations.
  • Preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and managing complete technical documentation, including revisions and drawings.
  • Ensuring quality: checking designs for compliance with national and international standards (including NEN 1010 and IEC) and internal quality guidelines.
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, other engineers, and clients to achieve project goals and align technical solutions.
  • Driving innovation: contributing to the optimisation and standardisation of our design processes.
