REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
8–10 years’ experience in electronic hardware design, preferably in avionics or other high-reliability industries.
Proficiency in schematic design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD).
Strong understanding of high- and low-voltage circuits, power electronics, and component selection.
Familiarity with compliance testing (ESD/EMI/ENV).
Ability to troubleshoot at component and system levels.
TOOLS & METHODS EXPERIENCE
Schematic & PCB Layout: Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD/Allegro, Mentor Graphics Xpedition/PADS.
Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD Electrical – for wiring and block diagrams.
MS Excel with advanced functions – for BOMs, calculations, and margin analysis.
Documentation & Collaboration: DOORS, Polarion, Jama, Confluence, SharePoint, Jira.

Support electrical design activities for Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) including functional partition analysis, schematic capture, and PCB layout support.
Perform electrical design verification including logic compatibility, AC/DC loading, margin analysis, timing verification, component-level thermal analysis, and power analysis.
Participate in prototype builds, board bring-up, and validation of designs against specifications.
Provide troubleshooting support for ESD/EMI/ENV issues, propose and implement countermeasures.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in Irvine, Osaka, and offshore locations.
Prepare and maintain electrical design documentation, including test plans and technical reports.
Act as a bridge between offshore teams and on-site engineering staff.
Support urgent issue resolution in high-pressure environments.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure design, validation, and verification tasks are completed.
