OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at HEMCO. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design and development of electrical systems, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position requires a strong foundation in Electrical Engineering principles, as well as proficiency in various design software and tools.
Duties (Additional duties may arise)
· Identifying / interpreting customer requirements
· Designing electrical control systems and products
· Reading design specifications, functional design specifications and technical documentation
· Researching suitable solutions and estimating costs and timescales
· Working to British (BS), European (EN) and other standards
· Liaising with others in the design team
· Liaising with clients and contractors
· Attending meetings on site
· Designing and conducting tests
· Recording, analysing and interpreting test data
· Proposing modifications and retesting products
· Qualifying the final product or system
· Servicing and maintaining clients equipment
· Preparing new project quotations etc.
· Preparing product documentation, writing reports and giving presentations
· Monitoring a product in use to improve on future design
· Installation
· Commissioning
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
