We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer based in Banbridge to be part of our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design and engineering of electrical systems on major Design & Build projects, contributing to the delivery of technically excellent, compliant, cost-effective, and sustainable electrical designs.
They will work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams and contribute to maintaining design integrity throughout all project phases.

Responsibilities
  • Support project delivery from concept to construction, including technical design reports, calculations, schematics, specifications, and schedules.
  • Assist the team in delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable electrical solutions that meet client expectations and comply with British Standards, building regulations, and environmental frameworks (Part L, BREEAM, LEED) contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams - mechanical, BIM, and external contractors - to produce coordinated MEP designs.
  • Participate in design team meetings, technical workshops, and contribute to the preparation of key project documents (e.g., Engineering Reports, Basis of Design).
  • Promote sustainable design practices and advise on low-carbon solutions, regulatory compliance (e.g., Part L, BREEAM, LEED), and emerging technologies.
  • Support construction teams during project delivery.
