• ELECTRICAL SYSTEM DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT:Design and develop electrical systems, wiring harnesses, control panels, and power distribution systems for fire fighting trucks and emergency vehicles.
• COMPONENT SELECTION & SIZING:Specify and select electrical components (e.g., motors, switches, controllers, sensors) ensuring they meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards.
• CIRCUIT DESIGN & SCHEMATICS:Create detailed circuit diagrams, wiring layouts, and schematics for vehicle electrical systems.
• INTEGRATION & TESTING:Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems with other vehicle subsystems. Perform testing and validation of electrical designs to ensure performance, safety, and reliability.
• COMPLIANCE & STANDARDS:Ensure all designs comply with industry standards
• TROUBLESHOOTING & SUPPORT:Provide technical support for manufacturing, assembly, and field operations, helping troubleshoot electrical issues during production and in-service vehicles.
• DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING:Prepare technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, design specifications, test reports, and other necessary reports for internal and regulatory purposes.
• CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for process improvements, cost reductions, and innovations in vehicle electrical systems.
