OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems design and a passion for innovative solutions. As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical designs and schematics, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog for digital design applications is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
  • Experience with CAD software for creating detailed electrical designs.
  • Familiarity with NEC regulations to ensure compliance in all designs.
  • Knowledge of MicroStation for drafting purposes is advantageous.
  • Experience working with logic controllers and their programming is a plus.
  • Ability to apply principles of Quantum engineering in practical applications is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with attention to detail to ensure high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and design electrical systems using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
  • Create detailed schematics and layouts for electrical components, including logic controllers and other related systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and provide effective design solutions.
  • Ensure designs comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant standards.
  • Utilize MicroStation for drafting and design tasks, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems using tools such as an Ohmmeter to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Stay current with advancements in Quantum engineering and incorporate new technologies into designs as appropriate.
  • Write scripts in Python to automate design processes or enhance system functionality where applicable.
