QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience as a CAD Engineer / Aircraft Design Engineer in the aerospace or UAV sector

  • Expert-level proficiency in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly Design, Generative Shape Design, etc.)

  • Strong working knowledge of PLM systems such as 3DEXPERIENCE

  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; German is a plus

  • Proven experience working in international, cross-functional teams

  • Structured, independent, and team-oriented working style
    Passion for new technologies and a desire to work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment

Responsibilities
  • Design of complete electrical harness systems (high and low voltage)
  • 3D routing of harnesses and wire bundles inside airframe using CATIA EHI (Electrical Harness Installation)
  • Define connector interfaces, wire gauge, shielding, and labeling per aerospace standards
  • Collaborate with mechanical designers to define mounting brackets, penetrations, and cooling paths for electronics
  • Integrate battery systems, avionics modules, servo motors, sensors, and antennas
  • Create and manage electrical BOMs, 2D schematics, and harness drawings
  • Work within 3DEXPERIENCE for electrical part libraries, routing validation, and release process
  • Implement grounding, bonding, and EMI/EMC best practices for defense systems
