Senior Infrastructure Electrical Engineer
Position Overview:
This role focuses on electrical infrastructure engineering, specializing in utility systems and network design for major infrastructure projects. The position requires expertise in substation design, electrical distribution networks, and telecommunications infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute detailed engineering assignments under moderate supervision, including calculations and technical analysis within established budgets and schedules
- Develop solutions for complex engineering challenges while maintaining compliance with regional standards
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Design and optimize electrical infrastructure systems from concept through IFC (Issued for Construction) stage
- Perform comprehensive utility corridor analysis and space planning, ensuring proper coordination with wet utilities, transportation, and landscape elements
- Conduct detailed electrical calculations and prepare technical documentation for all dry utility networks
- Design telecommunications infrastructure, including duct systems, manhole placement, and GSM tower coverage analysis
- Develop street lighting solutions for various road types, including load calculations, single-line diagrams, and landscape lighting integration
- Implement digital design practices and innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency
- Create electrical system designs using Civil3D software
Technical Expertise Required:
- Comprehensive knowledge of primary and distribution substations, HV corridors, and pocket substations
- Expertise in MV systems up to 33kV and LV networks
- Proficiency in feeder pillar and service tunnel design
- In-depth understanding of UAE/KSA authority guidelines and regulations
- Strong background in infrastructure project lifecycle management
- Experience with utility master planning and right-of-way coordination
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in design consultancy
- Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure engineering projects
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Proficiency in relevant design software, particularly Civil3D

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
