You will collaborate with internal teams and contribute to high quality outcomes across a range of telecommunications projects. Developing detailed electrical designs for telecommunications infrastructure Preparing material take offs and cost estimates (labour and materials) Supporting the construction teams during project delivery Maintaining and updating databases and as built drawings Ensuring designs meet relevant standards and compliance requirements Required Skills and Experience You are a motivated and detail-orientated Electrical Designer (or Engineer) with the ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment. We are looking for experience in - Electrical design or engineering roles Low voltage (LV) and DC power systems Preparing bill of quantities and cost estimates Interpreting CAD drawings MS Office, particularly Excel for estimating and reporting Understanding of ISO9001, OH&S and environmental standards Drivers licence Willingness to travel and work away from home as required Bonus skills (desirable, not essential) Solar and battery systems design for commercial applications Knowledge of solar industry standards and regulations Basic understanding of LV/HV AC electrical systems Familiarity with MS Access, Power Automate and Power Apps About Ventia As a leading services provider, we maintain, operate, and manage the essential infrastructure that makes modern life possible across Australia and New Zealand.
