Join us!   Your Opportunity You will work with direct supervision and general direction on tasks and smaller projects as a team member of a larger engineering team under the guidance of a Senior Engineer/Designer. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include AutoCAD and/or Revit design, calculations, potentially with a focus on the specific requirements of the healthcare sector. The smaller projects that an Electrical Designer may be assigned to will have routine and complex features, potentially within healthcare facilities. You will draw on strong building engineering knowledge, including a growing understanding of healthcare-specific electrical systems (e.g., essential electrical systems, grounding for medical equipment), to assist in the preparation of electrical plans, drawings, details, and specifications in accordance with client standards and expectations, including those unique to healthcare projects.   Your Key Responsibilities * Prepare of Electrical equipment layout for healthcare sector buildings and plans * Prepare Cable schedule, cable route diagrams and conduit development * Prepare ref. MCC and control Panel Elevation drawings and Gas for Healthcare sector applications * Prepare Load schedules and Single Line diagrams for healthcare sector electrical systems * Prepare Earthing and Lighting layout drawings for healthcare sector buildings * Coordination with Civil / Mech / Process and other disciplines * Serves as the electrical task assigned from time to time by supervisor/management, potentially including Healthcare sector specific tasks. * Prepares required calculations to meet project requirements, including those specific to healthcare sector electrical systems (e.g., essential electrical systems). * Collaborates with project managers and supporting design staff as part of a coordinated design team for healthcare sector projects. * Learning/Maintaining and Expanding Technical Skills * Maintains and shares current knowledge of technologies, trends and the markets in which we work as they apply to healthcare sector project types and continually strengthens skills.  * Proactively pursues additional knowledge in related disciplines by attending available in-house and external training relevant to the Healthcare sector.
