M+B Engineering is currently recruiting for one position: An junior to intermediate electrical designer to join their team in Calgary, AB. The ideal candidate will be prepared to be responsible for designing, managing, and coordinating projects in the electrical discipline. These positions are for someone passionate about engineering systems and team collaboration in a high-energy environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop electrical designs, project specifications and electrical drawing details for the building’s electrical systems, including but not limited to power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and communications, using Revit, AutoCAD, or any other BIM collaboration software.
• Perform Design coordination and quality control on assigned projects.
• Collaborate with clients and consultants working through the project.
• Project management: Ensure that scheduling, time management, and reporting are implemented effectively and efficiently.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate among all parties and disciplines involved in assigned projects.
• Accountable for on-site construction administration, including completion of site surveys and inspections of construction sites in assigned projects.
