Purpose: We are currently recruiting for a Junior Electrical Designer. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Calgary, Alberta. Worley is seeking an Electrical Designer I to support project teams with drafting and basic design tasks. This is an entry-level role suited for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to develop technical skills under guidance. Responsibilities: Working as part of a project team, you will: Prepare electrical drawings including power, grounding, lighting, and heat tracing layouts. Develop single line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams based on provided inputs. Assist with basic electrical calculations under the guidance of senior staff. Support Lead Electrical Designers with administrative tasks such as filing and organizing drawings and documents. Follow company, client, and industry standards in all work. What you will bring: Technical and Industry Experience: 0–2 years of experience. Familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation. Basic understanding of electrical drawings and systems. Ability to work in a team and follow direction. Willingness to learn and develop technical skills. Co-op or summer work experience is an asset. Electrical field experience (e.g., Journeyman) is an asset. Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Required: Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from a recognized institute or Certificate in CAD (AutoCAD or MicroStation) from a recognized institute.
