JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Drafting and designing of Electrical building services drawings using AutoCAD and BIM software (Revit MEP).
• Develop electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, lighting layouts, power distribution layouts, cable routing, and detail design drawings in accordance with the company’s standards and codes.
• Prepare and coordinate BIM models for electrical systems to ensure integration with other disciplines (Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, and Architectural).
• Perform clash detection, resolve design discrepancies, and update BIM models throughout project stages.
• Support engineers in preparing design calculations, technical submissions, and compliance with local authority requirements.
• Ensure design accuracy, code compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Drafting and design experience in Electrical building services (Commercial, Industrial, or Residential projects)
• Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM/Revit MEP (Navisworks knowledge is an advantage)
• Familiar with local electrical codes, standards, and authority submission requirements
• Strong attention to detail and design accuracy
• Good team player with effective communication skills
• Positive working attitude and willingness to learn
