EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Certification in AutoCAD or Revit MEP is preferred

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Revit MEP, Dialux, or similar software is an advantage
• Ability to prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and schematic diagrams
• Understanding of MEP coordination drawings
• Familiarity with electrical systems including power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, and low current systems such as CCTV, access control, data, and BMS
• Knowledge of MEP standards and DEWA, SEWA, ADDC regulations
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in GCC projects in an MEP contracting or consultancy environment

SOFT SKILLS

• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Team player with problem-solving skills

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings from design concepts
• Prepare load schedules and single line diagrams as per local authority standards
• Modify drawings based on engineer or consultant feedback
• Coordinate with MEP engineers and other disciplines
• Maintain drawing records and revisions
• Ensure all drawings comply with local authority standards
