OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Draughtsperson/Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical design and be proficient in various design software. This role involves creating detailed schematics and designs for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. The Electrical Designer will collaborate with engineers and other professionals to deliver high-quality projects that meet client expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in a drafting role is necessary.

• Attention to detail with the ability to produce technical drawings.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated
• Create 2D engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) derived from 3D models.
• Prepare and manage all design-related documentation, including generating design files, recording relevant calculations, and compiling documentation required for UKCA/CE compliance.
• Maintain and update existing design documentation
• Organize and lead design concept and scope meetings as needed to establish design criteria.
• Proactively identify and propose improvements to current product designs
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Expert proficiency with CAD software.
• Familiarity with electrical/electronic products is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical design skills and ability to perform engineering calculations.
