Description Responsibilities & Duties Design, develop, and manage all aspects of low and high voltage batteries including battery management systems and thermal management. Advanced knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the electrical engineering field Research and implement next-gen battery tech, charging solutions, and smart features. Integrate electrical components with vehicle hardware and software for networking protocols and smart monitoring. Create circuit designs, perform simulations (MATLAB, Simulink), and analyze data for performance and safety. Conduct hardware and functional testing, ensuring EMC compliance. Coordinate and direct the work of others Requirements Skills and Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline plus minimum of 6 years related experience. Advanced knowledge of computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex technical challenges in a fast-evolving industry. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external teams. Experience with electrical CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer), simulation software like MATLAB/Simulink, and potentially programming languages like C++ or Python. Physical Requirements: Prolonged sitting, standing, walking, typing, screen work, assembling test setups, monitoring equipment, Occasional handling of batteries/equipment up to ~25–30 lbs Handling of small components and wiring Personal protective gear; strict electrical/chemical safety protocols
