Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly Internship Duration: 10 weeks, beginning June 1, 2026 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Location: 7525 Perryman Court, Curtis Bay, MD Primary Responsibilities Design and Development: Assist with circuitry design, mechanical design, firmware coding, and the real-world implementation of designs in a fast-paced environment where interns typically see an entire project lifecycle from start to finish. Engineering Support: Work as part of a cross-functional team to support various engineering disciplines, gaining insights into the collaboration required for successful project completion. Project Preparation: Aid in the preparation and setup of integrated laser, lighting, flame, and special effects equipment for both in-house and onsite events. Project Implementation: Take part in the assembly and installation of set pieces that meet high operational standards for events, ensuring pieces are user-friendly, safe, and consistently reliable. Documentation and Compliance: Complete necessary documentation and compliance reports related to projects, ensuring all safety and operational standards are met. Skill Development: Progress in proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools, including PCB design software, CAD programs, and programming interfaces for real-time embedded systems. Research and Development: Participate in research and development initiatives that explore and test new technologies and proprietary equipment. Secondary Responsibilities Support engineering teams in the maintenance of proprietary gear, specifically focusing on lasers, lighting, and flame equipment. Explore innovative design concepts and technology integrations for unique special effects applications. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, following company procedures and compliance policies. Provide additional support for other multimedia projects as needed, including drone and pyrotechnic shows. Complete compliance-related training, maintaining OSHA and company policy standards.
