Description
Design and develop highly complex electrical systems, sub-systems, and/or solutions, applying engineering methods to design. Contribute to research and development efforts for future products by collecting and analyzing data to improve electrical system designs. Develop functional specifications for highly complex electrical/electro-mechanical systems and power distribution components. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering design teams to design and modify custom and OEM system components. Perform hands-on tests and validation utilizing lab equipment to characterize the performance of the electrical/electro-mechanical systems. Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, analysis, and results to diverse audiences in design reviews. Act as a resource and mentor for more junior colleagues. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 12+ years of experience; or a Master's degree with 8+ years of experience; or a PhD with 5+ years of experience; or equivalent experience. Semiconductor capital equipment power distribution design experience. Industrial electronics, control systems, and I/O. High voltage power supply design. Working with vendors to implement your designs in a timely and cost-effective fashion.
