JOB TITLE: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Exciting electrical engineering/design opportunity to work on massive industrial and governmental projects. This role is perfectly tailored for an individual to work in the “heavy” industry space to gain experience working on projects they will most likely have never experience before. There is a very niche nature of these projects which we will be happy to explain more!

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • AutoCAD experience to conduct 2D/3D design and modeling.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills in electrical engineering.
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex technical problems.
  • Proficient in technical writing and documentation.
  • Familiarity with MRP, purchasing, and management systems.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical, controls, and instrumentation engineering.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, consultancy, or “heavy” industrial environment.
  • Ability to work effectively within integrated project teams.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and support electrical power system designs, including load lists, single line diagrams, cable diagrams, and control schematics.
  • Perform engineering calculations and trade studies to optimize system performance and reduce material costs.
  • Prepare material specifications and bills of material aligned with project requirements.
  • Work with cross functional internal, and external teams to conduct analysis, design reviews, engineering tasks and more.
