EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate is an individual that understands the generator product and has the following skills:
• Ideally 3 to 5 years of design experience with hydro generators or other rotating machinery; • Computer skills in common PC applications - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel et PowerPoint);

The open position is for an Electrical Engineer within the hydro generator engineering group. The team is located at the Andritz Hydro Peterborough Generator Center, which includes a modern coil and bar manufacturing facility. The unique requirements of each hydro project make this a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a candidate with related skills and experience.
The Electrical Engineer is expected to work closely with the local engineering and drafting teams, as well as externally located engineering specialists, project management, manufacturing and installation teams.
Occasional travel to customer locations, project sites or other Andritz offices is required.
Individual duties will vary based on project requirements, but generally include the following:
• Documentation for proposals, technical reports and customer O&M manuals; • Review and approval of electrical drawings to ensure contractual and internal requirements are met;
